Creating 3D Heads. All we need to create our 3D head is two photographs and an audio file. The photographs should be 'mug shot' style, one photo of the right side of the subject's face, one photo of the front (see Fig. 01). You can capture these photographs using a digital camera or scanner. The audio file should be recorded at 8000 Hz mono, and no longer than 10 seconds. You can use previously recorded sound or attach a microphone to your sound card to record (may not be possible on all computers). Once we've assembled all our materials, we tell 3DMeNow how to put it together.
